Hi! My name is Yasmim. I’m a Science for Health student living in the United States, originally from Brazil, and deeply passionate about Public Health.
Through my journey as an immigrant and student, I have learned that health is not just about hospitals or medicine; it’s about policy, culture, inequality, language, and belonging.
I created Health without Borders to make health information clear, accessible, and human. My goal is to share my learnings about Public Health in everyday language, compare how different countries organize their health systems, and support people, especially immigrants, in navigating healthcare safely, confidently, and with dignity.
